situated on the harrogate road in chapel allterton, seven is an independant community arts space which aims to deliver and enable high quality arts activity, a new venue for film, theatre, dance, music, words and comedy.

'the most basic function is to develop and inspire the individual, to engender curiosity and creative activity; to lift daily experience beyond the mundane. Our desire is to encourage the exchange of ideas and creativity between individuals and organisations.'

the launch: on the 7/7/07 at 7pm, on the streets of chapel allerton outside casa mia, the old police station, chapel allerton library, the regent pub and the hub bar.

up coming events include:
the launch: crazy dancing on the streets (7/7/07 at 7pm),
wiked words, a lively event of poetry, words and music held on the second wednesday of each month
grada - traditional irish music, a concert specially programmed by the irish arts foundation (15/7/07)
screen seven, a regular programme of art and independant moving image (commencing autumn 07)

the venue is easy to get to from leeds city centre or from headingly. buses run from the city centre (numbers 2,3 and 3A) and from headingly (91 or 91A).
